Save Delivery Project ( reduction of child mortality (2nd Phase)

The deterioration of the health sector and collapse of the humanitarian situation in Yemen made the country a fertile soil for spread of epidemic diseases such as  Cholera and Diphtheria at an unprecedented rate thus making people susceptible to the lives of the people to death risk particularly the children and women. The project aims to reduce the morbidity rate among the children and women in the communities hosting the IDPs.  The intervention focused on supplying a delivery room in Jisr Al-Hamli center in Taiz governorate districts, in addition to a training course for 20 people (4 males / 16 females) in maternal health care during pregnancy and after childbirth and awareness of the importance of preventing cholera, diphtheria and malaria. The Project was funded by German international cooperation.
